We are excited to announce the launch of our latest SafeUp update: INSPECTIONS — a powerful new feature designed to streamline and enhance tool-control at the end of every shift.

With INSPECTIONS, operators and managers can easily verify tools in any locker or location, confirm missing or flagged items, and maintain full control using visual checks or RFID scanning. The process is fast, intuitive, and ensures complete accuracy.

What INSPECTIONS Enables

The new INSPECTIONS module allows you to:

• Inspect tools at any locker or designated location when finishing a shift

• See which tools require confirmation

• Identify tools not yet returned

• Review items flagged as lost or inactive

• Use visual verification or RFID scanning for confirmation

  
  

How It Works

1. Select “INSPECTIONS” from the main menu

2. Choose the location to be inspected (if multiple locations exist)

3. Review key information, including:

   • Total number of tools in the cabinet

   • Number of tools currently checked out

   • Number of flagged tools

   • Total inventory for the location

   • Date/time and ID of the last inspection

4. Perform the inspection

   • Confirm tool by tool — by selection or by RFID scan, or

   • Confirm all tools at once if applicable

5. Select the operator or manager performing the inspection

6. Complete the inspection

   • Add seal ID (optional)

   • Add a photo (optional)

   • Add signature and save

Reporting & Follow-Up

All inspection logs — including full details — are available in the SafeUp Webportal under Reports.

A step-by-step instructions video will soon be available on our website. However, the new INSPECTIONS feature is already designed to be quick, user-friendly, and highly efficient, saving your team time while increasing operational value.
